NAY PYI TAW, 6 May—A press conference on the findings of bomb explosion incident in front of X2O water throwing pandal was held at Araindama Hall of Myanmar Police Force Headquarters here at 12.15 pm today.

It was attended by Chief of MPF Brig-Gen Khin Yi, departmental heads and officials, ambassadors of foreign embassies in the Union of Myanmar, charge d’ affairs, military attaches, special guests, member correspondents of Myanmar Foreign Correspondent Club, editorial staff and reporters of local journals and magazines.

First, MPF Chief Brig-Gen Khin Yi explained the arrest of one of the offenders who were responsible for the bomb explosions that occurred in front of X2O water throwing pandal and expose of those behind the scene.

Next, Brig-Gen Khin Yi replied to the queries raised by those present and the press conference ended at 1.15 pm. After the press conference, attendees and guests viewed the draft map showing the bomb explosion incident in front of X2O water throwing pandal, photos of bomb explosions that occurred in front of X2O water throwing pandal on 15 April (Thingyan Akyat Day), detonated grenade and undetonated remote-control bomb, the table showing the links with the perpetrator terrorists and biographies of the terrorists displayed at the press conference.
