Eight members of Einme Township National League for Democracy in Ayeyawady Division U San Aung of Mayanbin village, U Min Zaw, U Htay Win, U Htay Lin, Daw Thuza Hlaing, U Soe Tun, U Tun Oo and U Tun Tun Lin resigned from the party on 1 July of own volition after sending the signed letters of resignation to the NLD head- Eight quit Einme Township NLD due to loss of trust in NLD HQ and its leaders quarters and local authorities.

In the signed letter of resignation they submitted to Einme Township Multiparty Democracy General Election Sub-Commission, it was said that they totally lost trust in the NLD and its leaders as their acts were heading towards giving trouble to the people and the nation; and that they quit the party.
