Members of Dabayin Township National League for Democracy in Sagaing Division U Paw Shwe, U Kyaw Sein, U Pyae, U Kyaw Htwe, U Taik Gyi and Daw Nyo Nyo Thein of Letyetkon Village resigned from the NLD of their own accord on 6 June. Similarly, NLD members U Pyae and U Pwe of Letyetkon Village and U Paw Tin Saingpyin Villageand U Taik and U Kyaw Ohn of Dabayin resigned from the NLD on 8 June.

They sent the copies of resignation to NLD Headquarters and local authorities. In their letters to Sagaing Division Multiparty Democracy General Election Sub-Commission they said the NLD has never served the interest of the nation and the people. They said they had no trust in the NLD and its leaders and that was why they resigned from the NLD.
