Mawlamyine Township OWA Daw Zin Wah Aung said that MWAF is taking measures for security of women while enhancing women’s rights, economic, health and education sectors and for elimination of trafficking in women and children and rehabilitation of the victims.
Since 1996 the government has promulgated laws and cooperated more closely with neighbouring countries to eradicate human trafficking.
From 2002 to 2004, 474 cases were exposed, 519 traffickers were taken actions, and 2,629 persons were rescued. MWAF educated over 720,000 women and brought 17,280 women home. Some western nations are turning a blind eye to the government’s sustained efforts to build a peaceful, modern and developed discipline-flourishing democratic nation and interferring in the internal affairs and imposing economic sanction against the nation.
So-called leader of NLD is issuading international community from making investments in the nation but made demand to impose economic sanction against it. She also welcomed the economic sanctions and pressure put by the US government.
Even though she has done nothing good for her motherland, some western countries and organizations deemed her to be the democracy icon and awarded 77 intentional prizes.
Under 35 out of the 77 awards, she received millions of US dollars, but has spent none of it in the interests of the nation and the people.
At the same time, NCGUB led by expatriate Sein Win, her elder brother, are constantly committing destructive acts.
In 1990, expatriate Sein Win and accomplices colluding with insurgents destructive elements illegally formed DFB.
Although it is claiming itself as parallel government, it is perpetrating destructive acts.
It can be found that the terrorist acts that broke out in Myanmar were committed by NCGUB fugitive Sein Win and absconder Pyithit Nyunt Wai and some westerners through well-schemed plots.
NCGUB is in disguise as a group getting involved in democracy campaign, but in the pragmatic world, its members are begging for cash assistance and funds from international community and are spending them for their personal interests.
