The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) donated biosafety equipment for prevention of bird flu to the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department at the department this morning.

Present on the occasion were Deputy Resident Representative of JICA to Myanmar Mr Kohei Sato and party, Director-General of the department U Maung Maung Nyunt and officials and local media men.

U Maung Maung Nyunt and Mr Kohei Sato delivered speeches. Mr Kohei Sato handed over the equipment worth US$ 14,638.
