Members of Shwebo Township National League for Democracy U Win Aung and U Kywe of Htoogyi Village of Tebin Villagetract, U Po Aye of Thanbayachan Village, U Lu Myint, U Hmay, U Kyi Aung, U Aung Khin, U Po Hsan and U Khe of Tebin Village, U Myint Wai and U Ban Min of Kyar Village of Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, resigned from the NLD of their own accord on 19 July. They sent the letters of esignation to the NLD Headquarters and local authorities. In their letter sent to Shwebo Township Multiparty Democracy General Election Sub-Commission they said that they had lost interest in the NLD acts and they had no trust in the party leaders, and that was why they resigned from the NLD of their own accord.
