Under the arrangements of enhancing knowledge of the people on prevention and control of bird flu in Yangon Division, an educative talks was held at the hall of Hanthawady Tax-free Market in Sangyoung Township this morning.

Head of Yangon Division Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department Dr Soe Win gave talks on prevention against avian influenza and replied to the questions raised by those present.

Head of Branch U Kyaw Myint of Markets Department of YCDC presented pamphlets and wall sheets, gloves and soaps to egg and chicken shopkeepers.

It was attended by veterinarians, students of University of Veterinary Science and shopkeepers.

The head of Yangon Division LBVD and party held a similar talks at the hall of Kannar Market in Kyimyindine Township, and conducted surveillance of the bird flu at the markets.
