A total of 40 members including U Htin Lin (a) U Zaw Win, U Win Tin (a) U Tin Aye, U Aung Myint, U Toe (a) U Kyi Toe, U Chit, U Aung Moe, U Soe Tint, U Myint Lwin, U Nyo Maung and U Than Soe of Thongwa Village had resigned from Kungyangon Township National League for Democracy of Yangon Division of their own volition recently and sent letters of resignation to the NLD Headquarters and local authorities. In sending letters of resignation to Kungyangon Township Multi-party Democracy General Election Sub-commission, they said the NLD is constantly undermining the interests of the State and the people, relying on big countries. They firmly believed that the Constitution which will emerge soon would be a drive for the emergence of a genuine democratic nation as the National Convention has completed successfully. They lost interest in acts of the party, and that is why they resigned from the party of their own accord. |
