A total of 28 members including U Tin Maung Oo, U Phyoe Wai and U Thein Htoo of Ohn Taw Village(North) and U Toe Maung, U Tin Win, U Thein Shwe, U Win Aung and U San Tin of Khet Kha Village and U Thein Htun and U Kyaw Myint of Dabayin Khwe Village and U Aung Myat, U Khin Maung Aye, U Bo Me, U Kyaw Swe, U Than, U Thaung, U Swe, U Kyaw Minn, U Naing Oo, U Than Oo, U Paw Myar, U Zaw Zaw, U Myint Kyaw, U Pu, U Thein Aye, U Zaw Lwin, U Aye Win and U Min Min of Pyi Taw Thar Village of Sagaing Township of Sagaing Division resigned from NLD of their own accord on 15 September.

They sent their resignation letters to NLD Headquaters and local authorities concerned.

They said in the letters sent to Sagaing Township Multi-party Democracy General Election Sub-commissions that they wished to participate in regional development tasks in cooperation with government and local people. Therefore, they quit NLD of their own volition.
