Five shot dead on Seinle Kantha Street, Kamayut Township

Investigation under way to expose the case

Anyone with relevant information about the case may inform authorities

Four women and one man were shot dead at No 126 on Seinle Kantha Street, Ward 9, Kamayut Township, Yangon, on 3 March evening.

At about 7 pm, officials rushed to the scene and found that the victims were U Charlie (a) U Saw Kyi Pha, 60, son of U Khun Pan Sein with bullet wounds in the right wrist, in the left side back of the head, and under the right eye; Daw San San Myint, 58, daughter of U Mya Maung, with bullet wounds behind the left ear through under the left eyebrow and in the right temple; Ma Mya Sandar, 36, daughter of U Saw Kyi Hpa, in the right temple through the left cheek and in the right wrist; Ma Hnin Pwint Aye, 27, daughter of U Saw Kyi Pha, in the right temple through the right eyebrow; and Ma Ei Phaw, 15, in the left temple.

The Myanmar Police Force and security members are trying to expose the cases and arrest the culprits. If there is anyone who can inform about the case, he is invited to the authorities concerned.
