Since the unavoidable assumption of State duties, the Tatmadaw has given priority to peace and stability of the State and community peace and tranquility. It has exerted efforts to built economic and social infrastructures of the nation that lacked development in all sectors.

Thanks to the government’s goodwill attitude toward the people, the State has significantly developed in all aspects. The government, despite difficulties and hardships, has been in the process of democratic transition and as a result, the constitution that is instrumental for the emergence of a new nation will be approved very soon by holding the national referendum.

Legal experts took time to complete the draft constitution based on the fundamental principles and detailed basic principles adopted by the delegates to the National Convention. The draft constitution has been written not for an individual, a party or an organization but for ensuring perpetual existence of the nation, rights of all the national people and interests of the people.

This is why all the people are to guard against any destructive acts and to take part in their respective roles with Union Spirit holding the belief that the emergence of the State constitution is the duty of all citizens.
