An ART-72 aircraft of Air Bagan overshot the runway by 300 feet as it took off from Putao to fly to Myitkyina of Kachin State at 3.15 pm yesterday. One passenger and the co-pilot were slightly injured in the incident. Local authorities and officials of Air Bagan Ltd rushed to the scene and provided necessary assistance to the passengers.
