The Tatmadaw members, Myanmar Police Force and the Customs Department exposed 253 drug-related cases in September. They seized 404.5617 kilos of opium in 43 cases, 7.7367 kilos of heroin in 87 cases, 118.1633 kilos of morphine in two cases, 2.8428 kilos of opium oil in 16 cases, 292.7395 kilos of low-grade opium in 20 cases, 25.5114 kilos of marijuana in 19 cases, 87,789 tablets of stimulant tablets in 41 cases, 33.37 kilos of opium speciosa in 10 cases, 1.8120 kilos of Ice in one case, 322 capsules of tramadol in two cases, 350 tablets of flunidetrazepam in one case, 20 litre of chemical liquid in one case, 18 kilos of chemical powder, four cases in failure to register and 6 other cases.

Action was taken against 398 persons — 300 men and 98 women — in 253 cases.
