Altogether 159 members led by Saw Nay Soe Mya, son of former KNU/KNLA Chairman late Saw Bo Mya of KNU Insurgent Group come and join Htokawko Village

The government in the perpetual service of the people has laid down and is implementing the seven-step Road Map for the emergence of a peaceful, modern and developed nation.

Realizing the policy of the government and witnessing nation-building endeavours being carried out by the State, the people and the Tatmadaw, local people taking great delight in enjoying the fruits of regional development due to prevalence of peace in the region, and taking care of national race groups who have returned to the legal fold by the government, altogether 71 members led by Saw Nay Soe Mya with the rank of Captain, son of former KNU/KNLA Chairman late Saw Bo Mya of KNU Insurgent Group along with 88 family members totalling 159 and 24 assorted arms, came and joined Htokawko Village where KNU/KNLA Peace Council resides on 30 March.

Officials concerned and local people extended a warm welcome to Saw Nay Soe Mya and party who returned to the legal fold. They were resettled by the government that is making arrangements for providing them with necessary assistance.
