NAY PYI TAW, 21 Jan — Upholding “Our Three Main National Causes”, the StateGovernment has dealt with national reconsolidation effectively and is trying hard for harmonious development in all parts of the nation. The government is transforming the nation into new discipline flourishing democratic nation in cooperation with the people and the Tatmadaw. Realizing the attitude and genuine goodwill of the government, armed groups are returning to the legal fold after having problems among themselves, lacking confidence in their acts and understanding their wrongful acts.

On 19 January, seven members of armed group led by Saw Cha Mu Kyae of Saw Labwe group of KNU insurgents bringing along with them seven assorted guns, 1050 rounds of ammunition and a walkie-talkie returned to the legal fold in South-East Command area.

Officials are fulfilling the requirements to those who returned to the legal fold and there are still remnant members of KNU insurgents to return to the legal fold.
