As Mandalay Region Government allowed construction of 36 water throwing pandals including Mandalay Mayor’s Water Throwing Pandal, pandals of national entrepreneurs and companies for enabling the dwellers of Mandalay to happily enjoy Myanmar Traditional Maha Thingyan Festival 1373 Myanmar Era in Mandalay, the water throwing pandals are under construction around the moats of Mandalay Nanmyo in competitiveness.

A total of 36 water throwing pandals in the municipal area of Mandalay City Development Committee of Mandalay Region are two decorated pandals and 17 water throwing pandals on the southern moat of 26^th Street, one decorated pandal and 11 water throwing pandals on 66th street, and one decorated pandal, three water throwing pandals and one local decorated float on the west of moat on 80th street.

The water throwing pandals in Mandalay are NwayU May pandal, Alpine, AR Star (Xin Xing), Lolli Pop Chanaye Mandalar, Summer Holiday, Lazy Club, MCDC, Central Command Headquarters (Nanmyo Thu), Fantastic, Domino Family, Transformer, Maung Phusarshin, Nway Yati, War Festival, Sein Sabei Phu, Crystal (Tawwin Diamond House), and Maritime (Platinum) on 26^th street.

On the east part of moat, 66^th street are packed with water throwing pandals namely Myanmar Hoteliers Association, JLANN, Spy (DJ-Clean), Win (Avatar), Yangon- Mandalay Directory, Sagawah Myay, Manthiri, Crystal Light, Myat Shwenadi, Defence Services (Air) and Tokyo-Yankee.

The 80^th Street on western moat is parked with Shan national, Htet Myat and Myawady water throwing pandals.

There is no water throwing pandal on 12th street of northern moat. Anyone may join the pandals happily with free K 5000 on the Akyo Day, K 8000 on Akya Day, K 10000 on first Akyat Day, K 12000 on second Akyat Day and K 15000 on Athet Day.
