Victory artist U Ba Yin Galay was born in Myanmar, second large capital Mandalay in 1915. He was a very famous artist in Myanmar and had painted several posters, portraits, water color and oil paintings of very good quality.
Inclusive in his fantastic works of art are sight scene portrays that proving that he was an all around excellent artist who can drawn an art of many kind. His very famous work was that if he drew a portrait form of person, he could even draw that person’s biography in his painting.

He is the one and only artist to do be to draw that type of paintings. Among his very famous works are Taung Kwe` Zedi, the wife of the village elder of Naga hill-land, other identical posters.
He was even praised by world renowned Myanmar artist U Ba Nyein who said U Ba Yin Galay was an excellent artist. U Ba Yin Galay often said his life was arts and he live on drawing in that his painting was his live.
At his time, he was recognized as an excellent poster painting artist by many people. He earned his living by poster art. He never sold the painting he had painted for his happy of a pleasure.

U Ba Yin Galay passed away in 1988. After he died, his works were bought by art collectors from foreign countries. And now, only some of U Ba Yin Galay’s precious works of art remained.
