This dance is the traditional dance of Mon nationals depicting the habit of Brahminy Birds and noble spirit of the King, Golden Brahminy Bird.
The accompanying song means that while the king Brahminy Bird and its company are looking for food, the King is caught in a rope-trap and gets into trouble.
Although he is hurt painfully, he does not moan realizing that if his followers hear him, they may be further frightened. He also knows that when they fly restlessly and in disorder, they might die accidentally in the wide-open sea. Therefore, the intelligent king has valuable sacrificial and strong spirits which can be said that a good leader’s abilities.
Appropriate to the lyrics and Mon traditional tune, the proper way of performance, attire and dress are added.

You may see the admiring plots depicting how the couple of Brahminy Birds are leading the followers while they all are looking for food, how much strong waves in sea because of heavy rains, why the couple birds are separated, when they meet again and finally, flying of Brahminy Birds in orderly manner after they had enough food.
