Nicolas Baronnier was born in Saint Etienne, France in the year 1966. He studied the piano and trumpet at Saint Etienne School of music and later on attended the University of Music in Lyon, the 3rd largest city in France where he graduated in 1994 and won two, 1st prizes for his music accomplishments.
At present, he is a brilliant trumpet player and also a superb pianist. He is fluent in Japanese and has performed with famous orchestras in Europe, United States, Fiji, China, and Australia.
Our pianist, Hiroko Miyagi was born in Sandai, Japan. She studied traditional Japanese performing arts under the guidance of Master Ken Sasaki. She also studied philosophy of music under Ken Sasaki and later on went to Paris, France where she studied the art of piano under Vlado Perlemuter and Suzanne Roche.
She had done many piano recitals and performed concerts in Japan, Europe and the United States. Hiroko can converse fluently in French and has been performing with Nicolas since the year 2000. Both Nicolas and Hiroko are incredible and accomplished musicians who have captivated audience world-wide and I'm sure our audience will enjoy their debut performance today.
