Loi-Mwe hill resort is about 30 miles from the city of Keng Tong in eastern Shan State. Along the way to Loi-Mwe, you can enjoy the breathtaking sceneries, which includes the beauty of the bluish mountain ranges. When you visit Pan Waing village, which is the habitat of Lahu national, you will love to see their houses, which are charming and neat. They have harness hydel electric power from the water flowing down the mountain. To earn their living, locals have to cultivate paddy by terrace farming methods.
