One summer morning, our MRTV-3 crew is staying at Myanmar Treasure Beach Resort in Ngwe Saung Beach along Bay of Bengal, we got an opportunity to observe under-water world of Myanmar coast by scuba diving.
Arriving at the bank, we patiently waited to complete the preparations for diving. We all were excited like children for this event, which we have never seen before. Whether or not our dreams come true. A motorboat was also anchored and ready to go to sea for scuba diving.
It is a little distance from us so we must go there by Jet Ski. We, on the Jet-ski saying bye bye to our colleague, started to ride happily. Before we reached the boat, the Jet Ski's engine broke down. Oh! My God. Please God save us.
The two of us on the Jet Ski pretended not to be scared. But really in my mind, the fright is as big as sea. Our colleagues at the beach were also very anxious.
We have to change another Jet Ski equal balance was needed and it was important to move from one Jet Ski to another. If we were out of balance, the Jet Ski would lose its balance. When we finally reach to another, we were completely exhausted. But we were happy. Then, we steeped on the motorboat safely.
All members of our crew were ready to go, we went out to the sea from Ngwe Saung Beach. We reached diving site, 7 miles away from the Beach. One of our members angled fish along the way to the open sea. His luck or the fish was lucky; he couldn't get at least a small one.
Nyaung-kha-shae Island is totally isolated surrounded by sea and unaffected by tourism, fishing and pollution.
The` Phyu island and Hnat Taung island are 10 miles away. Arriving in diving site, all the divers were wearing diving suits & equipment and also checked one another. Experienced divers from Myanmar Treasure Beach Resort also helped and showed us how to used equipment, how to behave under water and how to use signals.

First, Dive master went down the water and he signaled his partners. Then, one after another went down the water. Dive master checked his partners and signaled to dive all.
The sea was completely calm; we soon got a taste of the rich life to be seen in these waters. Swarm of fish was swimming through the sea like streams of silver. Suddenly they changed course, headed straight towards us. Were they talking to us?
Various kinds of fish such as rock fish, fancy fish, reef fish, parrot fish, angle fish, crown of Thorn star fish Rhinopterus Jaranicus can be seen and they all swam around us with curiosity and then they turned away. I would not resist the temptation to grab their tails for a ride.
The shallow water inside the reef was a shining, luminous green. A fairytale landscape of coral of all shapes extended in front of us. Protected from the erosive forces of the open sea by a sand bank, brain coral, mushroom coral, stage horn coral and other various kinds of coral had grown in all directions. Everywhere there are soft coral trees of every colour glowing brightly.
After returning from under-water world of Myanmar coast, we felt like astronauts visiting another planet.
This under water world is miracle of biological riches and our adventure there was unforgettable, a girlhood dream realized in a most spectacular way.
