The program we are going to present now is "the Melodious Myanmar Harp". Before we present this feature, let me introduce this most prominent among Myanmar string instruments. It is really an ancient royal instrument for it used to be played in court. It has 13 strings and can create 7 melodies. The playing of the harp embodies two significant points. One, it is held close to the player's body below the bosom or chest, and setting with both legs bent at the knee. Two, in tuning the harp, the key is not used, only "Bwe" or silk string is used to obtain occasions. The song we are now going to present is usually sung at auspicious ceremonies in commemoration of achievement. Let's sink into it and appreciate it.
