We will be presenting to you the program photo by artist-photo show a combined effort by Myanmar artists who are applying the art of painting to photography. In this show, the artists are displaying the photos of their choice. In this program artist Mg Mg Hla Myint will be offering to the audients his favourite photos. Why is that an accomplished painter and a graphic designer like you taking photos and exhibiting them here at this photo show? Tell me about your aim? When I started learning, I started by painting. Later I became a Graphic Designer. Then I started taking photographs in order to get the pictures I needed for my designs. After I had accumulated enough photos, I had the urge to present the public with my works of art that is my photos. And that is why we made this exhibition. I discovered that you used the colours blue and green mostly in your photos. They have a cooling effect. |

Please explain to me why you use them? Please tell me about your favourite photos from this exhibition. This painting of Bagan, which shows the pagoda being dug out of the earth. I went to a monastery and asked some novices to help me in taking this photo. I arranged the photo to my preference. I gave this photo the name, "Next to the Future". I gave this title to my photo with the aim to make the Buddhist religion more firm and solid in the future. The photo named "Colour Wizard" shows a time when trees shed their leaves and water subside but the fallen leaves haven't left the bank with the subsiding water. It's a time when winter had arrived and a storm had left a clear and clear environment and my photo had caught this magic moment where several natural colours were recorded in one solo photo. This is my favourite and that is why I exhibited it in this show. -Thank you very much. I would like to express my thanks to MRTV-3 for the interest in our show and for this interview. |
