Yangon Zoo will be having it's 100th anniversary in 2006. Yangon Zoo will give you fun and knowledge and a recreation place for families. This coach is very convenient for the whole family and the children who are too young to walk and for me also, because I can view around the zoo in a short time.

This is a very crowded place in the zoo. What are they? Oh! These are hippopotamus. Look! They are asking for food and I must have to feed them.

There are many species of bear in the world. This is called Asiatic Black Bear. They like honey and they are very clever in fishing. Black Bear habitat is the Southern East of Asia. They are black in colour with white V shape on their chests. Their life span is 24 years.

Giraffes with a very very long necks and legs are taller than all the animals in the zoo. I think she was waiting for someone. So, her neck is become longer.

Two giraffes, a mother and her daughter are in the Yangon Zoo. I think them in isolation; it will be better, if we can find some friends for them.

Crocodile, which can be live in, survive in the water and on the land. They usually lay eggs on the land. The mature crocodiles are so ugly and the small one are cute. Today, the products made of crocodile leathers are very popular in society. So, animal lovers are afraid of these species to be endangered. In Myanmar, many crocodile camps are established and I would like to urge all of you not to use these crocodile wear products to protect our endanger species.

This is called Alps deer, which can be found in Myanmar, Manipura, Thailand, Viet Nam and high land island. Because of their beautiful horns and body structures, all the visitors and children are very fond of them.
