Participants of 7th International Balloon Festival continue their journey to Monywa, situated in the North West of Myanmar. Monywa is comparatively booming with good business and famous as an important town.

The balloonists select Monywa Sports Grounds as the launching venue for the morning balloon flight.

In the early morning of cold seasons, all the participants are enthusiastic preparing to fly the balloons. Actually, these preparations are very important for the safety of the flight.

As the sun rises, all the participants are energized under the morning sun rays. The beauty of the morning sun rays and the ignition of the balloons are really matching.

When everything is ready, the flight starts. Before departure, the balloonists and the crowd exchange friendly greetings joyously.

The balloons start flying over Monywa and we can see the beauty of the town in the morning sun. Surely, the portrait of peaceful, tranquil Monywa is dotted with magnificent land-mark pagodas and temples.

The whole townsfolk’s including children come out and greet the balloonists. The whole team is cheered up and happy for the support and enchanting smiles of the locals.

The balloonists invite MRTV-3 crew to fly with them so we’re lucky enough to document the first day of the morning flight in Monywa.

One of the reasons they choose to fly over Monywa is that they can fly over the Chindwin River.

With the correct calculation of wind direction and wind speed, the balloons fly along the meandering Chindwin River. As they cruise, they enjoy to watch natural scenic beauty all along.

Right now, they are flying over the beautiful sandy shore of River Chindwin. The beauty of the sandy shore and the magnificent balloons are matching making the scenery awesome.

Some balloons make momentary touch down on the shore skillfully to greet the children playing there. It’s really a happy moment to exchange greetings.

At the same time, some balloons fly over the misty River Chindwin. The scene is also amazing.

Every time they visit Monywa, they select to fly here as they love to view the sandy shore and Chindwin River.

Following the wind direction, the balloons move towards Ah Myint village, east of Monywa where they’re going to land.

Ah Myint village is somehow beautiful with patches of successful cultivation. The main live hood of rural people is agriculture relying on rich and resources.

Endless horizon of long and mighty Chindwin River, farmlands pleasant weather are the factors really worth while and satisfying for the journey of the balloonists.

As the balloon approaches Ah Myint village, MRTV-3 crew documents the beauty of toddy palm groves, simple life style of rural people and their ago-based socio-economic life.

After choosing the landing site, the balloons safely land on the ground one by one. While landing, there arises some difficulties but these are sorted out with the team spirit.

Warm welcome and hospitality of rural people are also really satisfying. In fact, these are the moments they treasure most during their visit in Myanmar.
