"Puta-O" which is situated in Kachin State, northern Myanmar is a town full with natural beauties. The ethnic groups such as Khanti Shan, Lisu and Rawan nationals mostly reside there. The city is surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges. You can study the customs and traditions of local ethnic groups. Among these customs, we will be presenting the traditional dance of the Khanti Shan ethnic group. This dance is called "PanKalat" dance. Two days before the Sabbath day, they have to go for picking up flowers. And on a day before the Sabbath day; they have to decorate the flowers into the shape of stupa. Then, they offer this flower stupa on the Sabbath day. This dance is always performed on every Sabbath day and other donation ceremonies. So, now let's enjoy this traditional dance.
