Along the road to Shinbway Yan, there can be seen national races villages where Naga and Lisu nationals are residing. Along the journey, some parts of the road are very difficult to travel. The survey team arrived at Ta Wam creek, which was very difficult to cross due to heavy rains. Some cars broke down and some got stuck in the mud at the Creek, so it was unforgettable experience.

After passing through the Ta Wam Creek, the survey team came across the Tayone Creek, which is much wider with rapid flow of water. In the rainy season, the creek overflows and cars are swept away. After overcoming difficulties in crossing the Tayone Creek, the survey team arrived at Shin Bway Yan, a gold producing region of Myanmar, where it will be camped.
