Today, I would like to present to you the places around Inlay region, which are one of the interesting places in Myanmar. And, Inlay region teems with exotic sights, natural beauties spellbinding sceneries.

Inlay Lake is situated in Nyaung Shwe Township, Southern Shan State. You can go there via Shwe Nyaung, on Yangon-Taunggyi road. From Shwe Nyaung, it takes 30 minutes to Nyaung Shwe. Then, you can travel by motorboat, from Nyaung Shwe to Inlay Lake. You can also study Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery, on Shwe Nyaung –Nyaung Shwe road. You can pay homage to the Buddha images there, which are ancient architectures. Visitors from local and abroad are studying in the monastery, as it is decorated with ancient handicrafts and fine arts. We had also an interview with two tourists from Germany.

When you are Nyaung Shwe, you can also pay homage to Yadana Man Aung Su Taunggyi pagoda, which is a prominent pagoda in this town. As it is peaceful and quiet, visitors can pay homage to it peacefully.
Before arriving Inlay Lake, you can rest in Nyaung Shwe, where many high standard hotels are operating.
Then, you can go on to Inlay Lake where you can observe many natural scenic beauties and interesting sites.

In Inlay Lake, you’ll have to visit from one village to another by boat. It is sure; you will have an impressive experience.

Inthar, (or) people, who reside in this region, are fishing with conical- shaped fishing – traps made of bamboo.

Firstly, you can pay homage to Ahlodaw Pauk pagoda in Nant Pan Village. This pagoda is revered by the ancient monarchs in successive eras.

If Inlay is on your itinerary, you should visit Pahung Daw U Pagoda without fail. Your visit will be completed, only when you pay respects to Pahung Daw U pagoda, which is situated in Nan Hu Village. You can also witness the charities of Shan nationals who have gilded the images over and over with reverence, until the images are now like golden balls. And these pagodas are teeming with visitors from local and abroad.

From there, you can also visit Shwe Intein pagoda, which is situated in Intein region, at the foot of the mountain and it is furthermost from Nyaung Shwe.
