Myanmar Arts & Handicrafts Centre

Myanmar Arts and Handicrafts Centre is located at No.69, Shwegondaing Road, Bahan township, Yangon catering to those who want to view and buy Myanmar handicrafts, at a one-stop location.

Opened on May 1998, the Myanmar Arts and Handicrafts Centre occupies the basement and ground floors of the 14 storied Yuzana Tower.

As one enters the ground floor, there are different stalls displaying paintings by Myanmar artists, precious gems, tapestries, lacquer-ware in many modes, mother-o-pearl products, Myanmar shoulder bags, ivory carvings, fragrant sandalwood carvings, Pathein umbrella, marionettes are among things sold as souvenirs.There are items of furniture, Myanma harps, antique furniture and utensils, intricately sculptured silverware, wood carvings, rattan ware of many types, brassware and turnery materials.

All products carried by the centre are from the 14 States and Divisions of Myanmar, attract all viewers and entices them to visit the place where the items of their interest originate.The centre opens from 9:30 in the morning to 5:00 in the evening. The Centre is closed every Tuesday.

For the convenience of Customers, all items are payable in Myanmar Kyats, FECs , as well as Master, Visa and other credit cards.

For shipping bulky items abroad, export permits are made available on the spot, and handling and packing services is offered through Forwarding and Packing companies located in front of the centre.This is specially designed to make things easier in every way for Customers.
