The Biggest Teak Tree

Teak is known to occur naturally in India, Myanmar, the Laos’ People Democratic Republic and Thailand.
But it is known to have been cultivated extensively in various parts of the world. Myanmar’s largest living teak tree is situated in very assessable area of Pyin Oo Lwin Township of Mandalay Division. It measures 750 cm got that brats height and stem 5 m tall.

The natural teak forest of Myanmar posses many forest areas where harvesting operations have not been carried out over a long period for various reasons. It is therefore possible that there could exist a number of teak trees it measures up to this mark or may even spark it.

But still such time systematic recording can be made this tree had been tentatively designated as the largest living teak tree in Myanmar. It could very well turn out to be the largest in the world.
