Our country is rich in natural scenic spots, so there are many fascinating and interesting places which are worth visiting. Among them, Dat Taw Gyaik waterfall is one of the recreation sites full of significant and natural beauty.The Dat Taw Gyaik waterfall is located in Ani Sakhan which is the half way point between Mandalay and Pyin Oo Lwin.

Ani Sakhan and Dat Taw Gyaik are 7 furlongs apart and we can go only 2 furlongs by car. We have to walk the remaining 5 furlongs.As the journey is downhill, we don’t think it’s quite tiring.
It is truly a pleasure, stepping down among the calm expanse of green mountain ranges in cool climate.

After we go down for 45 minutes, we can hear the sound of water falling and after a few paces, Dat Taw Gyaik waterfall is seen.The height of the water fall is nearly 400 feet and the depth is about 300 feet.The sound of falling water and the touch of the cool water sweep away our cares and tiredness.
