At 7:30 a.m. on 4th December, we arrived Katha in Sagaing Division. During the trip from Katha to Hteechyiant, as we were leaving Htweechiant, we saw 6 Ayeyarwaddy dolphins dousing happily in the morning sun and swimming here and there. Member of our team, on duty, took out pieces of fish meat taken out from fishes we had bought from Katha on the way. |

We all could put on record that the Ayeyarwaddy dolphins are inhabiting at the tributary of Shweli River and Ayeyarwady River. Then, we arrived at Hteechiant and had a brief stop for rest. Late in the afternoon at 13:20 hours, we left Hteechiant. Near Thaungkone village of Maezar Creek, we found another 3 Ayeyarwaddy dolphins. After that we continued our journey and arrived at Weigyi village, situated between Dagaung village and Yayin village and made a night stop. |
