Excellent Photographs Exhibition

Ko Htin Lin, one of the best photographers in Myanmar, displayed his best snapshots at an individual exhibition at Junction-8 Shopping Centre. You can study here how Ko Htin Lin has created the beauty of natural scenarios of Myanmar and traditional culture of the national races through his skillful art of photography.

The photographer himself has gone to various difficult places and took the photos of his pleasure by his artistic work of photography for the others to experience. He had shot lovely natural styles and characteristics of the national races. His photos show correct decision on lighting and dare ness, composition and right selection of lens and camera angles.

He can effectively give the essence of his photographic skill to his viewers of the exhibition. By observing his display of photos, you will experience that you also have gone to the places where he had shot them with patience for the coming of the natural light to take his snaps.

You will notice that Ko Htin Lin has chosen the best time of the natural lighting for his snapshots. The photograph of the Sacred Shwedagon Pagoda shows that Ko Htin Lin has chosen a significant angle to give new outlook to the viewers of his photos.

This programme is presented for dissemination of experiences of persons who had visited the photo exhibition to the MRTV-3 watchers.

May I know the aim of holding this exhibition?

U Htin Lin: This exhibition is held to share beauty and essence of excellent sceneries in my photograph which I’ve taken during my 26 year experience in photo shooting my shots include the photos of traditional culture and custom of the national races which I took for my hobby. I took them during my leisure time and some were taken coincidently with my work. I’m sharing the panoramic views and my experiences to the public. I’m a commercial photographer.

Which is your best photograph?

All the photographs displayed here are my best works. I have chosen all my best snaps for this exhibition. My shot of the “Molarshidee Bridge” is my best choice. You will see a Lisu damsel walking on the bridge in the mist is my most favourite photograph. I went there with great difficulties and had to take time for that shot early in the morning.

U Mg Mg Gyi : The photographic association was founded in 1950. We are really pleased with the emergence of a prominent photographer among about 10-thousand members. I would like to urge the future generations to take pains like him in the art of photography.

U Pe Khin : By overall studying, I see that this is a high standard photographic exhibition. Ko Htin Lin had worked hard in photography, his hobby, since he was young and now he’s successful.

U Hsanni Tin : I think the photo exhibition is really a success. I’ve seen some old displays but there are new ones as well. I’ve felt the idea of the photographer by seeing his snapshots. Some of them have bright colours and some are dull. All the photos are catching my eyes. The photos include shots from all over Myanmar. He had traveled to various places and tried his best with all out efforts for those shots.

This photograph is very beautiful. I like lighting and darkness in the snapshots. I’ll revisit the exhibition in the afternoon together with my hubby and my son. I’ll buy a photograph of my son’s choice to give him as a birthday present.

Please give me your opinion on this exhibition and please also express the best photo of your choice.

I can make differences between amateurs and professionals’ skill by visiting this exhibition. I see that Ko Htin Lin really understands the effectiveness of natural light. I wish like to express that he had painted his photos by lighting. He also understands composition, selection of lens and choosing of angles, low and high choosing of angles, low and high position of his camera and the best time of effective lighting. He had included all these points before taking his snaps. With correct equipment and right decision he had created marvellous photographs through his skill..
