One of such waterfalls, the Inn-Waing, is in Naung Cho Township, northern Shan State. Few people have ever been to the site and it is an unspoilt place to visit. The Inn-Waing waterfall is just 5-miles east of the Mandalay-Lashio highway. One can reach the site after trekking that distance and then descending about 100 meters down. It is refreshing just to hear the murmuring of the waterfalls. To see the foaming waterfall itself is so exotic. |

The dense forest surrounding and the awesome waterfall, the soft murmuring of the waterfall and the chirping of birds make the place so serene and tranquil. |

When large streams flow from higher to lower terrace some form just rapids because the slope is not so steep. Myanmar has many waterfalls large and small. These waterfalls are, in fact, prospective places for rest and recreation. |
