Friends, family members (or) loves send greeting cards to express their love, remembrance and goodwill for one another.
Although it was not customary for Myanmar to send greeting cards to each other, we adopted with the result that people greet each other on special occasions such as X’mas Day, New Years Day, Birthday and so on using the cards. A such lovely forms of greeting understandably sink in and they have become commonplace here.

Since most greeting cards are sent overseas, cards which depict our country’s natural beauty are more often chosen. There are also handcrafted straw art, scratch art and photos that are true to life versions.
Of the many cards that are available I opted for a special one painted not by a brush by the use of thin razor-blade and sometimes with bamboo-strips.
So let me tell you about that something strange and yet unique. It is called scratch-painting a new art from in which the oils have been applied with the thin razor blade which I would call a rare accomplishment. It is a unique introduction to the art World.
