Ngwe Saung is in Ayeyarwaddy Division. It is 48 kilometer away from Pathein. This beach resort was opened in the year 2000. While our MRTV-3 crew are here, we have met some of the foreigners as well as local guest and asked their opinion concerning this beach. | (Konrot Schulz) Germany. No, this is the first time I have been in Myanmar. We came from Germany and arrived in Yangon. Interviewer, Do you come here from Yangon? (Konrot Schulz) From Yangon, I went to Inlay Lake, Bagan and then I went to Yangon again and I came here. I came here by boat. It was very nice journey. Then I went here by bus. Interviewer, How long do you intend to stay here? (Konrot Schulz) I will stay here for about one week. After that I will go to Sagaing hill. Interviewer, How do you find Ngwe Hsaung beach and this hotel? (Konrot Schulz) This is very nice. The beach has clear water, white sand and only a few people are here, so thebeach is peace and silent. Interviewer, When you swim, do you have a safe swimming? (Konrot Schulz) It is very safe because it is not very deep. You can walk for a long while. The waves are not too big. The water is clear and very nice. Interviewer, How do find the food? (Konrot Schulz) Food is very good. The food here is very good. Interviewer, If you have a chance to come here again, would you like to come? (Konrot Schulz) Yes, I am planning. (Verena Stirn) ( Germany ) It’s the first time I am in Myanmar, I have been here three weeks. I have traveled though the country, Yangon, Mandalay, Bagan and the beaches. Interviewer, So you have been so many places. There are many beaches in Myanmar, Ngapali, Chaungthar and Ngwe Hsaung. Why did you choose this beach? (Verena Stirn) ( Germany ) I have been Ngapali first and then I went to Chaungthar. And this is the most beautiful beach among all I have seen here. It is the great. Interviewer, How many days are you going to stay here? (Verena Stirn) ( Germany ) Three to four days, I think. Interviewer, And then which place are you going? (Verena Stirn) ( Germany ) I will go beach to Germany, then. I finished my holding here. It is the best place in Myanmar. Interviewer. Lastly I’d like to know that if you have a chance to come beach to Myanmar, would you come here again? (Verena Stirn) ( Germany ) Yes, I would like to spend more time here. I like the people here very much. The people are very kind, very friendly. And I like this place very much because it is not too crowded, it is not too busy. I have a good time here. I am owner of shoe manufacturing factory and shirt manufacturing factory. Interviewer, I see. You are business-man. Here you have been here before? (Sein Oo ) ( Myanmar ) Yes, I have been here since the year 2000. The opening ceremony of this beach and this is my fourth time to here. Interviewer, Are you coming here alone ( or ) with your friends ( or ) Family? (Sein Oo ) ( Myanmar ) Sometimes with my friends, sometimes with my family. But mostly come with my family. Interviewer, Do you have a pleasant stay here? (Sein Oo ) ( Myanmar ) Yes, as you know, as a businessman, I am constantly under pressure. So I refer to have a recreation here. Interviewer, There are so many beaches in Myanmar. Why do you choose Ngwe Hsaung to come often? (Sein Oo ) ( Myanmar ) Yes, a beach like Ngapali is very nice beach and is also recommended by a lot of foreigners. Ngwe Hsaung beach is just like the Ngapali beach. But the main point is it is too close to Yangon, we con get here after only three and a half hour drive. Interviewer, It is easy to come here from Yangon. Then, I’d like to know is your journey. You said that you have been here four times. And this is the fourth time. Find the journey is the difference between the previous time and this time? (Sein Oo ) ( Myanmar ) In the year 2000, we came with the old road, Chaungthar road. The road was so rough, bumpy all the time. My friend’s cars tires were punctured. The new road is much shorter than the old one. It is much convenient now. It is one hundred and 15 minutes drive from Pathein. Interviewer, How do you enjoy your holding here? (Sein Oo ) ( Myanmar ) I come here with my family. For the kids, they can play at the beach side. For myself, I prefer fishing. We can have many kinds of fish.
