Muse is a border town in Northern Shan State. It locates on the bank of Shweli River. It is also a border gate as well as a main trade center between Myanmar and Yunan Province, the People’s Republic of China. Muse is 190 km from Lashio. It is a vital important town in Myanmar- China border trade where trading is improving.

Now, I’m at the border gate of Muse. The other side of the Muse, is the Kye' Gaung and Shweli, Yunan Province, the People’s Republic of China. This gate is very easy to communicate in trade between the two countries.Kyukoke - Pansai , another border town, is 32 km from Musem. Kyukoke - Pansai is one of the border towns with Myanmar and the People's Republic of China. After getting peace, this region become a peaceful modern and developed trading centre. Kyukoke- Pansai is on the bank of Nangyan creek and the other sides of the creek is Wontain, Yunan province, the People's Republic of China.

Nangkham is 35 km from Muse. It is a town where most of ghee paddy cultivation is taking place in the region. You can make a journey from Nangkham to Bhamoe, Kachin state.On the way of Nangkham-Bhamoe motor way there is a Shweli suspension bridge across the Shweli river and it locate in the 2 km from Nangkham and it built in 1,945. The total length of the bridge is 440 long.Nangkham suspension bridge is about 60 years old. It is a vital suspension bridge across Shweli river, linking Shan and Kachin states. It is accessible to smooth transportation of border towns.
