Wa nationals have long face, average ears and fair and complexion. The present day dress and the olden day dress differ a later. It also differs slightly from village to village.

Wa men wear black-jacket with an overlapping flap in front and lose trousers like Shan pans. In the olden days, Wa women wear long sleeves blouse with an overlapping flap. Ends of the overlapping flap and sleeves were ornamented with cloths. Young ladies wore blouses which cover up to their waist.

The most famous traditional food and drink of Wa national is the well-known Wa Style rice broth and Wa intoxicating broth. Here is one of the traditional ceremonies which may illustrate the people’s value on the scene of bright prosperity, unity and recreation. That is the ceremony of house warming ceremony.
