Mynamar is endowed with natural beauties and pleasant geographical conditions with facility landscape meting, hills and placing and gently flowing rivers and creeks. Almost 100 years ago, a foreign visitor arrived in Myanmar and he told a various part of the country in 1903-1904 during which he painted pictures in water color.

He wrote a book Myanmar by Robert Talbot Kelly about scenic beauties and people, he made transcript and his presenter view and perceptive and painted pictures of interesting thing and places in Myanmar. Painted almost a century ago his convened and attractive paintings are still popular and famous. His painting stilling depict sceneries the way of life and style in vogue nearly a hundred years ago.

He wrote in his book that national races of Mynamar are good-national, simple and honest. Talbot Kelly also portrayed in his paintings the mode of dress and way of life then in vogue. Considering that Myanmar arts and crafts can be seen mostly in religious buildings and that Myanmar people use every pleasant and good place for building pagodas and monasteries making the scenery more beautiful and exquisite, he painted pagodas and shrines constructed on hills and mounds and religious edifices.

During his tour of various parts of Myanmar, he painted pictures of beauty-spots and eye-catching sceneries of Mynamar. He noted down that Myanmar people are very attractive and live harmoniously with environment. Talbot Kelly also described Myanmar as a in credibly amazing " Garden of Beauty ".
