With the view to bring all round development of the national races living in border areas, youth the development training centre have been established and national youths are being nurtured under the programme for development of border areas and national races of Myanamr.

The youth training centre is situated in the eastern Keng Ton Township is one of those centre. Altogether 147 students of local races, 113 males and 35 females are attending at the training centre. The centre is not only taking care of the health and welfare of trainees but also to teach moral lessons coat conduct and discipline to trainees. Moreover, all the trainees have to attend class at school. So that after their academic study, they could serve the interest of their respective regions. Trainees, students from KengTon Youth Training centre would began patriotic youths with nationalistic further who will discharge their assigned duties in building the nation in the future.
